Unigistix core systems have been developed in-house
and leverage our knowledge and expertise in third-party
logistics. While these systems have been developed and
implemented to support a large number of logistics processes
and activities, they are easily modified and customized
to adapt to each unique client need. The proprietary
Logistics Management System supports numerous applications
that enable Unigistix to interface with client systems
at any required point in the supply chain. These applications
include, but are not limited to, the following:
Order Management
(module supports client end-to-end order number management,
pick/pack/ship, customized packing slip generation,
carrier POD and invoicing and backorder management)
Inventory Management
(multiple warehousing, periodic cycle counting and reconciliation,
lot management, specific unit management)
Bill of Materials (BOM)
(component level and finished goods SKU management,
procurement and management of component SKU's, execution
and management of production and assembly orders)
Warehouse Management (strategic
pick location management, electronic bin locations assignment,
real-time receipt functionality, put-away and auto-replenishment

(management of safety stock levels, Min/Max strategies,
re-order, purchase order generation, event planning
and procurement, procurement of component level SKU's
for production and kitting)
Bar Code, UPC and Unique Label Creation
(UPC creation and management, customized bar-coding
and product serialization, all unique client labelling
requirements)
Reverse Logistics Management (creation
of return authorizations, verification and discrepancy
management, classification system for return types)
Carrier Management
(automated link to carrier shipping systems, best routing
designations, management of global shipping requirements)
Reporting (standard
reports detailing shipment activities, receiving activities,
inventory adjustments, product returns, invoicing activities
and more. Unlimited customized and ad hoc report generation)
For Unigistix to fully operate as an extension of its
clients, systems connectivity at some point in the supply
chain process is required. This connectivity can be
achieved through a number of mediums including but,
once again, not limited to the following options:

Network (ISDN) - connection via dedicated
line
High Speed Frame Relay (T1)
- fast and dedicated secure connection

Unigistix
can accept file types that include XML (Extensible Markup
Language), ASCII (American Standard Code for Information
Interchange), SAP IDOC (SAP Information Document), and
numerous other client specific formats.
